This was the first in a series of events I created for students to explore analogue processes and techniques (such as letterpress printing, screen printing, collage, paper making, etc) led by a series of different instructors. My workshop, Juicy Letters,
was a 2 hour introduction to Chancery Cursive.

THE TYPOGRAPHIC CAROUSEL 5
INTERACTIVE CIRCUIT EVENT WITH CAROL FILLIP
ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY GALLERY
OCTOBER 31, 2014

This was the fifth and final annual Typographic Carousel event, which was an interactive celebration of analog or pre-digital typographic processes and techniques open to the RIT community. The six terminals included letterpress printing, calligraphy, typeface identification, transfer lettering, typographic terminology, and letter-making with found objects.

Two sections of sophomore Typography and Typography and Imagery students worked together on teams to create imagery and text using locations on the  RIT Campus as the starting points/inspirations.
